Prior to law school, Ms. McKenzie worked for two years on a task force within the Civil Division of the United State’s Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, where she assisted in investigating and building a securities fraud case that arose out of the financial crisis, helping to secure a settlement of over $2 billion. During law school, Ms. McKenzie worked with the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Enforcement Division as part of the Student Honors Program, and she maintains an active interest in and knowledge of emerging trends in securities regulation and litigation.
