On February 14, 2012, Fox 5 New York ran an investigative story on It’s Just Lunch, a dating service that does not provide the services it claims it does, and a company the Firm is suing on behalf of its clients in a class action. The Firm’s partner, John Balestriere, is featured in the piece which also profiles two of IJL’s former clients. As John points out in the story and as the wronged former IJL clients attest to, the company has a history of misrepresenting key pieces of information: for instance, the male-female ratio of its client pool and the occupational and educational history of its clients’ potential “matches.” Even objective characteristics — such as whether a “date” has children or not — have been misstated by IJL to its clients.

If you have been wronged by It’s Just Lunch and are interested in joining the Firm’s class action against IJL, please email itsjustlunchcase@balestrierefariello.com.
